We are pleased to have a room block available at Best Western | Windjammer Inn. The hotel is located ~35 min. from Grand Isle Lake House and ~10 min. from the center of Burlington! “To book a room at the Best Western, click here or call the hotel at (802) 863-1125 and ask for a room in the Wilkinson-Sheevers wedding block.”
We will be providing a shuttle to and from the venue from this location.

There are a number of other hotels in the area and you are more than welcome to find
your own accommodations in Burlington or in the Champlain Islands.

should that be your preference.
Please be advised: If you choose to stay elsewhere, you will also be responsible for your own transportation to and from the venue or shuttle locations (Shore Acres Inn in North Hero, VT and Best Western Plus in Burlington, VT). While Uber/Lyft are available for local travel in the Burlington area, they are not available in the Champlain Islands. Uber/Lyft is NOT a reliable plan for travel to and from the venue.
TRAVEL
FLYING:
All flights into Vermont come to Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (BTV) 1200 Airport Drive South Burlington, VT 05403.
Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is ~3.5 hours from Burlington, VT and ~4 hours from the Champlain Islands.
Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is ~2.5 hours from Burlington, VT and ~1.75 hours from the Champlain Islands.
DRIVING:
Burlington, VT is easily accessible by car. From Albany, NY it is a 3 hour drive to Burlington, and a 3.5-4 hour drive to the Champlain Islands.
Renting a car? Rental cars are available from a number of rental car companies at the airport.
Train:
Burlington, VT is accessible by train from both New York City and Albany, NY. Trains run on a limited basis, click here for details.
